OLD BAY WINGS
Ingredients
Chicken wings (flat pieces preferred)
Coconut oil
Salt
Black pepper
Smoked paprika
Old Bay seasoning
Cayenne pepper
Method
Prep the Wings
Burn off any remaining hairs if needed, then clean the wings thoroughly and pat completely dry.Season
Toss the wings with coconut oil, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a small amount of salt. Go light on the salt since Old Bay will be added later and is already salty.Air Fry
Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 35–45 minutes, depending on the size of the wings. Cook until deeply golden and well done, flipping or shaking halfway through if needed.Finish
Once cooked, toss the wings with Old Bay seasoning and cayenne pepper to taste.Serve
Serve immediately.
Additional Notes
This is something I genuinely love to eat. As you can see—and as I mentioned in the video—I tossed half of the wings in lemon pepper as well. You can really finish these wings with whatever seasoning you prefer.
Old Bay is my go-to, which is why lemon pepper isn’t listed as part of the recipe itself. This video was specifically about my favorite, and that’s Old Bay.
Season with your heart. I wanted this “recipe” to be a glimpse into how I actually cook off camera. The more you practice, the better you’ll get at seasoning instinctively. Being comfortable not measuring everything lets you cook faster and more confidently.
Flat pieces are just better than drums, and I’m not arguing about it.
If you don’t want these spicy, simply omit the cayenne pepper. Y’all already know I like all my food spicy.
